I will close out this assignment with a video featuring Information Literacy and its components. The video is a compilation of information on each component with examples for a student at a college or university.

For this assignment I will discuss Information Literacy and its 5 components....

I will list the five components in separate post to fully explain each. First I would start off with the definition of Information Literacy.


Definition of Information Literacy

"Information literacy is the set of integrated abilities encompassing the reflective discovery of information, the understanding of how information is produced and valued, and the use of information in creating new knowledge and participating ethically in communities of learning."  (ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education 2015)
